This week was a week of rest for us. After 6 weeks of learning the creation story we took a break and mostly did whatever J wanted to do.
We did just one activity to signify Creation Day 7. God rested on the seventh day. He showed us we need to take a breather asked slow down once in a while. In fact rest is much needed for each and every human.
For this activity I taped a white paper to the ground and wrote REST with glue. I had some rainbow rice from a previous activity which I placed next to him. I sprinkled some rice over the paper to show him how.
J then sprayed the rest of the rice little by little randomly over the paper. After he was done, I just shook the paper a little, and just the rice stuck to the glued word REST was left.
