On Day 2, God created the earth and sea! We start everyday by reading his toddler Bible.. This week on Monday and Tuesday we did the art activity. On Thursday we did a Sensory activity.

Question: Who made the earth and sea?
Toddler: God. (God made the earth and sea – for older toddlers)
Art activity
On Monday we both together painted the base. That is, blue for the sea and brown /green. I painted it alongside with him as we talked about the sand beach sand and blue sea that God created.
On Wednesday and cut some brown hills and stones out of felt. We put some glue on the felt and pasted them on the base at made on Monday.
Sensory activity – edible dirty Sensory bin
To make the edible dirt we used – 4 cups of water, 1.5 cups of cocoa powder and 0.5 cup of oil..
I filled the bottom of the Sensory bin with some water. I gave him a scoop to pour the edible dirt into the Sensory bin with water. J enjoyed watching hills and mountains come to life as he poured the dirt. We had a good conversation about God creating the dirt(earth) and sea(water).
We also had lots of outdoor playtime digging the dirt and playing with sprinklers for the earth and sea concept.
