Day 6! Good created animals, man and woman. We did two part art activity on Monday and Tuesday and a Sensory activity on Thursday.
Dialogue you can repeat to your toddler everyday this week:
Question: Who made the animals, man(Adam) and woman(Eve)?
Toddler: God. (God made the animals, man and woman – for older toddlers)
Art project
Monday – animals
I used felt for our art activity today. I cut out few pieces of Grey felt and we glued the, to make an elephant. I cut a small oval face of a lion out of yellow felt. I also cut small pieces of ribbons and we glued thm around the lion’s face.
Depending on the toddler’s age, you can create more animals out of felt together talking about God’s creations.
Tuesday – man and woman stick figures
We made some stick figures out of craft sticks. I cut welcro into half, paste one half of the scratchy side on one side of the craft stick, and the smooth half on the other side of the stick.
J played along making random figures, while I made stick figures of Adam Eve. We talked about God making Adam and Eve just like Him. I also told J God made him, Daddy and Mommy.
Thursday – Sensory activity
We used the sensory beads from Amazon for this activity. I soaked the water beads overnight in water, it will grow in size to be used in the Sensory bin. I filled the the bin with the mini animals and that’s it!
J lives a Sensory bin and he grasps what we discuss so much better while he is playing. He scooped and poured the animals in and out of his construction trucks while we talked about God creating the horsey, bunny and the Lion.
