This is a really good activity to encourage independent play, and also enhances hand-eye coordination. You may need some patience as your little tries to figure it out. We had to do the activity a couple of times, showing him what to do, and he started doing it by himself one fine day!
Supplies needed
- post – it notes
- Diaper wipes box
I posted the notes on a wall, to a height slightly higher than his height. I repeatedly showed him how to take one note and ‘post’ it in the box.
He got excited when he got his first one in, and he went on taking almost all the post-its and posting it in the box.
We have done this activity many times, and it brings him such happiness posting the notes in the box.
