Sticky wall Mini-Basketball

This is a fun activity for a rainy day or really any day you need outdoor-ish activities to do inside for a baby 6-12 months old or a toddler.

There are a lot of sticky wall activities that I found online and loved! Here are some of my baby’s favorites:
Baby Puzzle Grab
Baby Ring Grab

We made some variations to them and soon found that he loved this sticky wall and spends a lot of time playing with the stuff we stuck on them. He loves it so much, we just left the sticky wall up in our living room for a while.

Since he loved it so much I’ve been thinking about more variations we could try and combine with the ‘posting’ concept he seems to be loving right now.

SETUP

You will need:

  • Contact paper
  • Scotch tape
  • Paper cups
  • A few balls

I cut the bottom of the cups. Make sure that the smaller side of the cup is big enough for the balls to pass through. I put up the contact paper on a free wall using the scotch tape, with the sticky side out. I stuck the paper cups on the sticky wall.

You can create your own orientation, or even let your little try his own.

My 13 month old loved it. He goes to the wall whenever he’s bored with the other toys, and plays some ‘basketball’.

Sometimes, he does try to rearrange it but ends up crushing it right now. But, still fun! And so inexpensive. I hope your baby has as much fun with this activity as mine did.
